All products sold on this site are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes. By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher), that you are purchasing as a qualified researcher or on behalf of a research institution, and that you will handle, store, and use all products in compliance with the laws of your local, state, and federal jurisdiction. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials and billing and shipping information confidential. Do not share your account with anyone else. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Prices are listed in USD and are locked in at the time an order is placed; we reserve the right to change prices for future orders without notice. Orders remain unprocessed until payment is confirmed, and we begin processing paid orders within 1-2 business days.
You may cancel an unpaid order at any time. Once an order has been paid, contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation — we cannot guarantee a change once an order has entered processing, and orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled or modified.
Orders ship within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address; we are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to an incorrect address you provided. If you need to change your address after an order has shipped, we cannot guarantee the change will reach the carrier in time. Report a missing or delayed package within 5 days of the expected delivery date — packages more than 30 days overdue are considered lost. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns once an order has shipped. If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or incomplete item, contact us with details and photo evidence within a reasonable time of delivery, and we will investigate and reship or otherwise remedy the issue at our discretion. Our products are sold "as is" for research use only, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, beyond what is stated on the applicable Certificate of Analysis. Any use of our products outside of a licensed research setting, or contrary to the restrictions in these Terms and our Disclaimer, is undertaken entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucent Sciences and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from the purchase, handling, storage, or misuse of any product sold through this site.
You agree to indemnify and hold Lucent Sciences harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or regulation, or your use or misuse of any product purchased from this site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Lucent Sciences is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this site will be resolved in the courts of that state.
